Let’s expand the concept of “couples” therapy! ALL relationships benefit from effective communication, compassion, and curiosity. Maybe you’re navigating transitioning to a long-distance friendship, you’re upset with a teammate, or things with a co-worker have gone down hill and it’s affecting your quality of life. Perhaps someone in the polycule is engaging in a new relationship and the shifting dynamics are causing tension. Let’s explore what’s going on and get to a place where everyone can work together to overcome the challenges. We all want to be seen, heard, and valued.

Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO) is based on Internal Family Systems (IFS). It’s an approach that focuses more on process than content. As an IFIO therapist, I’m on the lookout for repetitive patterns that interfere with communication and connection. Understanding relationship dynamics, attachment wounds, and communication styles will help you learn what gets activated when you’re feeling threatened and how to respond in more compassionate and effective ways.
